Where Time Stood Still: Vietnam's Abandoned Water Park

Left for dead for nearly 10 years. Silently waiting for nature to tighten its grip and tentacles. Home of a massive concrete dragon, steep waterslides, an amphitheatre, a space simulating machine and until recently: three crocodiles. Once a place for kids to play and cool off on a steaming hot day in Vietnam, now a place that comes closer to the set of a post-apocalyptic movie. This abandoned water park, just 8km outside of Hue in Central Vietnam, was only halfway through construction when it opened. Not long after the park was opened, it was shut down for reasons unknown. A haunting place... and definitely not for the faint hearted.
